One platform.
Every shape of speed.
Volterra is building a modular carbon‑aluminium architecture engineered to carry a whole family of fully electric hypercars — from closed coupe to open roadster — without compromising structure.
Six finishes. One architecture.
Every colourway below sits on the same carbon‑aluminium platform — the proof point behind Volterra's modular hypothesis. Select a finish to preview it.
Three derivatives, one common platform
The architecture is designed to support multiple body derivatives through standardised structural interfaces — without compromising stiffness, safety‑relevant load paths or aerodynamic performance.
Eterea
The flagship demonstrator for Volterra's modular platform hypothesis — the first vehicle intended to carry the architecture into engineering validation.
Nocturna
A closed, coupe‑class body sharing Eterea's structural hard points and chassis philosophy.
Omnia
The open, wide‑body derivative shown throughout this site — the current design study for the shared architecture.
A structural hypothesis, engineered to prove itself
Volterra's core R&D question: can one carbon‑aluminium platform, with standardised structural interfaces, carry multiple body derivatives without penalty to stiffness, mass or aerodynamics?
Most hypercars are engineered once, for one shape. Volterra is engineering the joint first — the interface where chassis meets body — so that a coupe, a roadster and a track derivative can all sit on the same validated spine.
That's the difference between a one‑off supercar and a platform: every future derivative inherits validated structure instead of starting from zero.

Engage before the architecture is de‑risked
Volterra is at design‑concept and platform‑definition stage, preparing to convert its modular carbon‑aluminium hypothesis into engineering‑validated evidence — CAD, CAE, CFD and ultimately a physical demonstrator.
We're not running a priced funding round today. We're having early conversations with investors who want visibility into the programme before validation milestones are reached — and who understand that platform bets pay off across a whole vehicle family, not a single car.
